For all lovers of slime, this is the camp for you! We will create all different kinds of slime, everything from Silly Putty to Fluffy Slime to Floam Slime, we will discuss the different ingredients for slime and its part in helping make the sticky, soothing, gooey concoctions that we love to make. Keep your house clean and let your child get their slime fix in! Recommended age: 7-12 years.

Come and be a part of this 2-week camp that will encompass the story of The Tales of Raggedy Ann and Andy. A parent’s meeting will kick off this event to let everyone know what to expect during the camp. This workshop not only introduces kids to drama, it exposes them to classic literature. A performance of the story will be held on the last day of camp. Recommended age: 8-12 years.

Junior Master Gardener introduces and reinforces gardening skills for all ages. This nationally recognized program will earn campers a certifcate for participating in learning about and maintaining gardens. Campers will have the opportunity to explore the Gardens of Myth exhibit and learn about the environment around them. They will also have a chance to get their hands dirty and work out in to the Garden! We will work on planting, weeding, and harvesting from onsite gardens. We will spend some time cooking with what we harvest as well. This is a great hands-on way to learn about gardening and have fun at the same time. Items to bring: Gardening gloves, Change of clothes each day (just in case), hat, refillable water bottle, sunscreen and bug spray. Students will also need to bring a sack lunch each day. Transportation will be provided to and from the gardens each day of camp or parents can drive campers to the site location if desired. Recommended age: 8-12 years.

This camp explorers the world of music with violins through learning and foundational skills. Campers will learn how to properly hold a violin, understand note reading, and learn songs along the way such as “Oh Susanna” and “Cripple Creek”. Campers will also learn the “Fiddle” style of music which is so popular in this area. Recommended age: 6-12 years.
