Is Earth warming?  Yes.  How do we know Earth’s climate is changing?  Why do we attribute climate change to human activities?  This course will explore the solid science behind climate change, the myriad evidence pointing to ongoing global warming, and the modeling techniques used to project future climate.  The first of this two-part series will include lectures answering these questions and more.  We will talk about ice ages, glaciers, and hurricanes, the greenhouse effect, recycling, and so much more.
